Austria may be one of the world’s most underappreciated wine producing countries, with delicious whites and reds that often get overlooked in the market. For the past decade or so, Austria’s white Gruner Veltliner wines have caught on a bit with wine-drinkers; with lean minerality, crisp acidity, and subtle fruit flavors, Gruner has proven to be one of the most interesting and delicious whites available.
