Henry Du Yore’s Bourbon is an ultra premium American Whiskey that fits within the boundaries of the Bourbon category: a mash bill of greater than 51% corn and an aging program of at least two years in new Bourbon barrels, but with a greater than usual influence from rye and a liberal amount of barley to give greater viscosity and weight to the palate. Longer aging and a unique finishing program utilizing French oak barrels lend additional complexity to this whiskey. Kenwood Vineyards Yulupa Merlot is a wine specially crafted from select barrel lots of wines made from California’s best appellations. Marie Duffau uses only estate grown, organically raised fruit from a 12 hectare vineyard in the heart of Bas Armagnac. The spirit is then created using a single, slow distillation which preserves the precious complexity of the fruit. Marie Duffau Napoleon Bas Armagnac is matured for six years prior to bottling. The result is a distinctive Armagnac with a bouquet of walnut, apple, pear, caramel, and toffee. The palate displays notes of chocolate, orange zest, vanilla, and loam, while a hint of tannins lent by the oak carry through the finish. The nose is captivating, with wild, spicy aromas and a hit of rose petal surrounding a core of rich dark fruit. The palate is full and round with a velvety mouthfeel and long, lingering finish. This is a special Cabernet. Only 200 cases produced.

It has creamy topical fruitiness, vanilla bean and toasty oak to round out the palate. Pair this up with some roast chicken and mashed potatoes.
