Abundant aromas of mature fruit, particularly blackberries, are complimented by subtle nuances of vanilla and cinnamon. Slightly tannic and fleshy on the palate with a well-balanced acidity and an elegant finish.
The Alamos Malbec, raised the same way as the Cabernet Sauvignon, has a simple bouquet of dark cherries, blueberry and crushed violet. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent, fine tannins. There is a seductive sense of harmony here with a light but insistent grip and a minerally aftertaste. This Malbec is very well-crafted.
Vivid ruby. A sexy, highly perfumed bouquet offers scents of candied dark berries, plum and potpourri. Deeply pitched dark berry flavors show impressive clarity enlivened by notes of white pepper and floral pastilles. Finishes sweet and long, with subtle tannins and lingering spiciness. This wine delivers serious bang for the buck.

Chile's Maipo Valley is known for producing stellar Cabernets, and Odjfell's "Babor" holds up that reputation. Fruit forward without being overpowering, this medium-bodied wine has easy, sweet tannins, gorgeous aromas of black cherries and plums, and a spicy, black-pepper finish.
