A pure, lively scent of fresh apricots introduces this crisply defined Pinot Gris. The rich, full midpalate brings in further fruit notes of apple and pear, with a vivid and bracing acid foundation. Long and refreshing.

The purple-colored 2007 Codice Tinto is 100% Tempranillo aged for six months in tank and six months in French and American barriques. The nose give up a hint of mineral, spice box, and black cherry leading to an easy-going, smooth, spicy wine with good balance and medium length. Drink it over the next three years.

Dark red. Peppery redcurrant and menthol on the slightly reduced nose. At once plump and energetic, with ripe acidity perking up the redcurrant and licorice flavors and giving structure to the wine. Finishes with a soft dusting of tannins, and good sweetness and breadth for a wine in this price range.
