The wine was produced from select Riesling vineyards where the fruit can ripen to the required 24°+ Brix. At that level of ripeness, the wine develops its trademark tangerine/apricot flavor. Zesty aromas of orange, lemon-lime, and peach are followed by flavors of tangerine, apricot, and a trace of mineral. Serve alongside poached pears, cheesecake, or a cheese platter of Stilton, smoked Gouda, and fresh goat cheese. It’s also excellent as an aperitif.
This lovely Gewьrztraminer is floral without being cloying, and carries the varietal marker often described as talcum powder. There's a hint of mint, and despite the 16 g/L residual sugar, it's crisp and fresh.

A blend of 35% Macabeo, 30% Xarel-lo, 20% Parellada and 15% Chardonnay. A sensational value, it tips the scales at 11.5% alcohol. Light-bodied and frothy with small bubbles, it was aged one year in the bottle prior to being released. This tasty, crisp, effervescent 2010 should be consumed over the next 6-12 months. I am glad to see the coop is now vintage-dating this cuvee so readers are assured of purchasing the freshest bottlings.
