In this particular section (101) we delve into 10 traditionally produced wines from 10 classic regions. Regions include:\u00a0<strong>Nemea, Greece. Loire Valley, France. Burgundy, France. Bordeaux, France. Rhone, France. Mosel, Germany. Tuscany, Italy. Rioja, Spain. Sonoma County, California. Finger Lakes, New York.<\/strong>\u00a0Coursework will include a variety of readings about the wines and their given regions. Wine making in Rioja goes as far back as 873 AD, from Monasteries in the region.\u00a0This Spanish wine comes from the winery of Marqu\u00e9s de Riscal, which dates back to 1858.\u00a0Marqu\u00e9s de Riscal&#8217;s first wines were bottled in 1862. The winery&#8217;s\u00a0philosophy according to their website &#8220;has always been a company, leading and pioneering innovative viticultural constantly changing. We seek to make wines original, fresh, elegant and easy to drink. Since our founding, we have had a clear export orientation. Today we are present in nearly 100 countries to which we export 60% of our production.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Marqu\u00e9s de Riscal&#8217;s Rioja Reserva Red is comprised of 90%\u00a0Tempranillo, 7%\u00a0Graciano and 3%\u00a0Mazuelo. The Tempranillo grapes come from vines that are over 70 years old, while the other two varietals add\u00a0freshness and vividness of color.\u00a0The wine is barrel aged in American Oak for 25 months and then 12 months of aging in the bottle. This Reserva is dark in color with notes of\u00a0cherry, basil and spicy complex aromas, along with ripe black fruit and light toasted hints. The palate has good structure, tasty, dense, round and elegant tannins. The finish is long and fresh with a slight memory of the oak.\u00a0Drink this wine with\u00a0ham, not cured cheeses, stews that are not too spicy, cooked vegetables, poultry, grilled red meats and
