The only cuvee produced in this challenging vintage, Cristia's 2021 Chateauneuf du Pape is a blend of 75% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre, with the Grenache aged in concrete and the other varieties in foudres. Subtle herbal notes accent red cherries on the nose, while the palate is medium to full-bodied and silky-textured but taut and tart, not particularly charming. 88 Points Wine Advocate
