Keuka Spring Vignoles / 750 ml

The combo of aromas, from candied citrus and yeasty apples to floral air freshener to honeycomb, makes this feel somewhat sickly sweet. The palate is fresher than expected, a mouth puckering acidity amid flavors of lemon tart and honeyed citrus. But it never quite harmonizes with the residual sugar, leaving a burn of alcohol to linger at the end.
