Plentiful winter rainfall resulted in ideal soil moisture conditions for the warm season ahead. Excellent shoot growth, healthy canopies and fruitful buds were apparent early in the season. Ideal conditions in spring resulted in good flowering and fruit set. A warm and dry summer supported exceptional vine health and good yields. Excellent ripening conditions contributed to great varietal character development, delivering fruit with vibrant flavour, fresh acidity, ripe tannins and balance.
