Description
The 2019 Estate Malbec mixes grapes from the different altitudes where they have vineyards: 1,800, 2,300, 2,600 and 3,111 meters! It's ripe at 14.9% alcohol, perhaps because of the heat wave in March, and the wine is primary and a bit heady, with varietal notes of decayed violets, raspberries and some spice. It has abundant, slightly grainy tannins and a dry finish. 90 Points Wine Advocate
