Description
The Left Bank was created by founder Neil Ellis as an homage to the wines of the Left Bank of the river Bordeaux, which is famed for these three varietals. He succeeds masterfully with a red blend that is every bit as elegant and finely layered. Garnet coloration, a soft nose of forest floor and subtle floral influences do not compete with each other in the slightest. Not overly fruited, its dusty tannins are garnished with hints of black pepper and smoke. Priced as it is to be accessible, it?s a table wine that drinks far, far above the price point.
