Weis Vineyards Ice Wine Riesling / 375mL

The 2019 Riesling Ice Wine comes in with 170 grams of residual sugar, 10.9 of total acidity and 8.9% alcohol. This was frozen the classic way?on the vine. Delicate but long on the sugary finish, as many great Eisweins are, this has the acidity to make it lively not cloying, fresh not heavy. Then, there is the purity of fruit. It is classic Riesling, with all that implies, in flavor and aromatics. Finally, it's utterly delicious, brilliantly crafted and likely to age well. Here's the problem: I like them with some age, but this is so delicious now, so fresh, so irresistible that I doubt anyone can keep their hands off of it. 95 Points Wine Advocate
