Alamos Chardonnay
Fruity on the nose, with a friendly mix of pineapple, apple, melon and powdered sugar aromas. Feels smooth and round but not heavy, with good acidity and likable, simple flavors of melon, banana and apple. There’s a light note of toast on the finish 87 Points Wine Enthusiast

Alamos Malbec
The Alamos Malbec, raised the same way as the Cabernet Sauvignon, has a simple bouquet of dark cherries, blueberry and crushed violet. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent, fine tannins. There is a seductive sense of harmony here with a light but insistent grip and a minerally aftertaste. This Malbec is very well-crafted.

Altano Douro
The 2010 Altano red is a blend of Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca. With a touch of roasted herbs, this elegant, well priced bargain is fruity and bright. It is modestly concentrated, but it has a little structure. It is drinking quite well--and rather better than I thought it would. It is clean and tasty and quite charming with a slightly crisp edge. For the price, it is a nice pickup, likely to be early maturing. Drink now-2017. 86 Points Wine Advocater

Altos Del Cuco Red
Interesting aromas of brick dust, mint, fall leaf and dried fruit seem traditional and familiar. The palate is tight, tannic and rubbery, with roasted, savory flavors of spiced berry and plum. Oak, prune and fig notes work the firm finish. 86 Points Wine Enthusiast

Alvarez De Toledo Godello
Alvarez de Toledo’s new releases include one white wine, the 2010 Godello. This unoaked beauty delivers a lovely perfume of baking spices, melon, peaches, and mineral. Round, spicy, and pleasure-bent, this smooth-textured, impeccably balanced effort over-delivers in a very big way. Drink it over the next 3-4 years. 90 Points Wine Advocate #67 on Marketview's 2012 Top 100

Alvarez De Toledo Mencia Roble Bierzo
The 2009 Alvarez de Toledo was bottled just a week before the wine was presented but seems to be showing no symptoms of distress. Balsamic, leather, and black fruits are the principal notes struck by this suave effort that over-delivers in a big way. Like its older sibling, it can be enjoyed now but will have more to say in 2-3 years. 91 Points Wine Advocate
