Barry Family Cellars Cabernet Franc / 750mL

This medium-bodied Cabernet Franc showcases vibrant notes of black cherry and cassis, layered with hints of dried herbs. Fermented in a French oak tank with daily pum--overs, it was then pressed off and aged in a single 600L, three-year-old French oak puncheon. Sourced from the historic Challen Vineyard on the west side of Cayuga Lake, the grapes were grown sustainably and fermented with only ambient yeast. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, this wine reflects both purity and place.
