Description
The cool 2016 produced a completely different 2016 Gernot Langes. It was produced with grapes from the Valle de Uco, with a different blend and different vinification. This 2016 is a blend of 50% Malbec from Gualtallary, 40% Cabernet Franc from Altamira and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from Los Arboles. It fermented in used rolling barrels with indigenous yeasts and had a long and soft vinification. This has to be the finest and most elegant red I have tasted from Norton. It's super tasty, balanced and has great freshness. The varieties are very nicely integrated, and there are fine-grained and chalky tannins and a supple, long and tasty finish. 94 Points Wine Advocate
