Description
The 2021 Riesling Heimbourg is from a steep limestone plot in Turckheim, with just a little clay and topsoil. It is a hot west and southwest-facing site with an average vine age of 22 years. The tell-tale reduction clouds the nose. However, the palate comes in with a striking lemony, zesty aspect. This is juicy, totally approachable, flowy, supple and bone-dry. Youthful and utterly citrus-focused with pure, bright lemon flavors. (Bone-dry) 92 Points Vinous
