This batch of Heaven Hill's barrel proof wheater is brash and bold. Aromas of vanilla, banana pudding, chocolate malt, and cocktail cherries scream out of the glass. The palate is punchy, with chile pepper and black pepper, cinnamon powder, and toasted oak demanding center stage. Water introduces some subtlety, with tobacco, sweet mint, and softer milk chocolate notes.
