Lava Cap Cabernet Sauvignon is approachable and tasty. A bit shy on the nose, the palate opens up to blackberry, blueberry, prune, raisin and just a hint of toasted wood. Coarse tannins grip the palate while a moderate level of acidity does just enough to keep some vibrancy.
