It is produced by Great Western Champagne Cellars of Hammondsport, New York, which has been making wine since 1860. This is a light, 10% alcohol by volume sparkling Burgundy wine from New York State that pours with a solid, red color and a lively amount of carbonation. The wine is naturally fermented in the bottle (the traditional method).
