In the late 18th Century, Mr. Lemon Hart became the first supplier of rum to the British Royal Navy. In 1804, he moved his business from Cornwall to London, and soon raw sugars and casks of rum were brought across the seas from the Caribbean, where they were blended to create the finest rums in Europe. While Demerara rum is an essential ingredient for tropical and Tiki cocktails, Lemon Hart has gained the reputation of being one of the best.
