Walsh & Sons Felix Syrah / 750mL

The 2022 Felix Syrah is supple and red-fruited on the nose, resplendent with dark chocolate-coated raspberry, licorice and graphite. The tannins in the mouth are very firm and are laden with pencil shavings and firm cedar. This is a spicy wine but a strict one as well. It is interesting, as the flow of fruit from middle to finish is a little more luscious than the structure would suggest. 90 Points Wine Advocate
