Description
The 2021 Semi-Sweet Riesling comes in with 34 grams of residual sugar, 7.5 of total acidity and 8.3% alcohol. You won't mistake this for the Semi-Dry, since this comes with a blue-tinted bottle. This has good acidity to go with its sugar, but it is certainly well off dry, if you're wondering. It's easily the friendliest of the regular Rieslings from the winery this year (including the Dry and Semi-Dry), showing a touch of sugar around the edges to go with a fresh demeanor. This is a nice performance at this level for this vintage. It might be a step short of distinguished, but in the price category, there is plenty of bang for the buck. It should hold well throughout most of this decade. 88 Points Wine Advocate
