Description
The 2019 Arinto is unoaked, very dry (one gram of residual sugar and 7.5 of total acidity) and comes in at 12.5% alcohol. Tart and a little mouthwatering in its youth, this has a very perky demeanor. The concentration is average, but the freshness is much better. There's plenty of tension on the finish and a touch of a herbs. What is missing just now, relatively speaking, seems to be the fruit. The usual expression of fruit is seemingly subdued by the structure just now. This very young Arinto just needs a little time to come around, I suspect. When it wakes up and pulls itself together, it will be right on track. Even now, it is a perfect summer refresher at a nice price. 89 Points Wine Advocate
