Description
A mix of fruit from Saint Helena, Oak Knoll and Carneros, the 2021 Chardonnay Napa Valley was barrel fermented in 30% new American oak. The result is toasty and vanilla tinged but also flush with fruity flavors of peach, pear and pineapple. It's medium to full-bodied, plump and round, having completed malolactic fermentation. The finish is a bit soft and short but picks up attractive hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. It's a fun, easy-drinking Napa Chardonnay that won't break the bank. 88 Points Wine Advocate
